Creswell, Oregon is located 10 miles south of Eugene, home to the University of Oregon and the historic Hayward Field, where the 2021 IAAF World Championships will be held. It takes only 15 minutes to drive from Creswell to Hayward Field. With a population of 5,400, Creswell is a small town with a friendly feeling, and an ideal place for athletes making final preparations for the World Championships. There are two track facilities in Creswell, one with a full 8-lanes and the other with 6-lanes. Nearby Emerald Valley Resort has a swimming pool, a weight training center and a top-ranked 18-hole golf course. With over a dozen restaurants you will have a variety of food choices from which to pick. When NCAA track championships come to Eugene, Creswell is a frequent host for college athletes wanting to stay near Eugene but still experience a small, rural town.
